A woman lost control of her vehicle downtown a block from the P-C office at Houdini Plaza where a blood drive was occurring. She would have plowed into the crowd had it not been for a lamppost and signal box.

That thing they call rodeo...
I went to my first ever rodeo today. I always thought this event would happen in Texas or someplace southwest, but ya know... sometimes Wisconsin will surprise you like that.
It's just 2 hours past deadline now, and as I edited for this post, I'm second guessing what I chose for print. That's the disadvantage to working weekends... there's often few people to bounce things off of.
The other day I was told that there would only be room for two photos, but I was encouraged to shoot a package for the sake of it... for myself.
