New bishop...
The Most Rev. David L. Ricken, the 12th bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Green Bay, said Mass Thursday in Appleton at St. Pius X Catholic Church. The Mass was a welcoming Mass for the newly installed bishop.
As a Catholic, I kind of get how big a deal this is. He's not the Pope, but it's still a big deal for the Catholic community (which is rather large here). He's their new spiritual leader. And having met him, I know he's got ahell heck of a personality.
